Spätburgunder is German for Pinot Noir. Bauer grows the grape in the Mosel and ages the wine in barrel, which adds vanilla and spice without taking over from the fruit.
Ruby red with garnet edges. Ripe cherries, raspberries and strawberries on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Medium-bodied, with soft tannins and fresh acidity. The finish pulls in the fruit and a discreet oak note.
