Brauneberger Kammer Feinherb
Off-dry Riesling — "Feinherb" marks a touch of residual sweetness that balances the acidity. Fresh, and a good match for spiced food and blue cheese.
Weingut Paulinshof · Mosel, Germany
Riesling sekt made by the traditional method, 36 months on the lees. Golden, with brioche, green apples, pomegranate and orange marmalade.
Riesling Sekt Brut is made by the traditional method — the same process as Champagne. 36 months on the lees (tirage) gives a creamy texture and yeast notes from autolysis.
Golden colour, persistent bubbles. Brioche, toasted bread, green apples, pomegranate and orange marmalade on the nose. A fine mousse and balanced acidity on the palate, with a finish that holds. As an apéritif or for a dinner.
