Brauneberger Kammer Feinherb
Off-dry Riesling — "Feinherb" marks a touch of residual sweetness that balances the acidity. Fresh, and a good match for spiced food and blue cheese.
Weingut Paulinshof · Mosel, Germany
Riesling from parcels of red slate — more warmth and depth in the soil than the more common blue slate. Clean, mineral and fresh.
Vom Roten Schiefer — "from the red slate". Red slate is less common in the Mosel than the blue kind, and gives a different character: a touch more warmth and depth.
Pale yellow with green highlights. White grapefruit, lime, green apples, and a clear mineral undertone that recalls wet stone on the nose. Crisp acidity, clean fruit, and a mineral finish that holds.
