  1. Is Kabinett a sweet wine?

    No. Kabinett tells you how ripe the grapes were, not how sweet the wine is. Sweetness has its own word on the label.

  2. What is Grosses Gewächs (GG)?

    GG is dry wine from a classified top vineyard, with low yields and hand harvesting. How to read the two letters.

  3. What do trocken, halbtrocken and brut mean?

    Sweetness levels are regulated to the gram, but not the same way for still and sparkling wine. A trocken sekt is sweeter than a brut.
