How to order our wines
Our wines are not on the shelves at Vinmonopolet. They are listed in the special order selection, and are sent to the store where you want to collect them.
It is the same route for every wine in our selection, and you pay no freight when you collect in store.

Find the wine
Every wine page here links straight to the wine at polet.no, where you will find the product number, the price and which stores hold it right now.

Order it
Order in the web shop, in the app, through the customer centre or directly in a store. You choose which store to collect from.

Collect it
The wine is sent to the store you picked. Vinmonopolet states up to five working days when an item has to be ordered in, and you pay no freight when you collect in store.

What we are asked most
How do I order wine from Vinmonopolet’s special order selection? +
You order in Vinmonopolet’s web shop, in the app, through the customer centre or directly in a store. The wine is not on the shelf, but is sent to the store you choose and collected there.
Does ordering cost extra? +
Not when you collect in store. Vinmonopolet states that you pay no freight when you choose store collection. Home delivery adds Vinmonopolet’s own freight prices.
Can I order to any Vinmonopolet store? +
Yes. We list each wine in the special order selection precisely so it can be ordered to every store in Norway, not only where we are based.
How long does it take? +
Vinmonopolet states up to five working days to a store when an item has to be ordered in. Post and home delivery usually take a little longer.
Do I have to collect the wine myself? +
Yes. You can also have it delivered to your home instead of collecting it, but then Vinmonopolet’s freight price applies.
What do I do when a wine is out of stock? +
It is temporarily out at Vinmonopolet and usually comes back. Our wine pages show the status as it is at Vinmonopolet right now. Sign up for the newsletter if you want to know when a wine returns.
Restaurant, wine bar or hotel?
Then Vinmonopolet is not the channel. We deliver directly, across Norway, with no minimum order.
