The Reserva is the Alvarinho Serrade gives oak, from parcels the producer selects for concentration of sugar and acidity. The must ferments with skin contact, and the wine is then split between stainless steel and French oak barriques, half in each, before being brought back together. Throughout, it rests on fine lees, and it is bottled only a year after harvest.
The producer describes it as straw-coloured with golden tones, with a rich, layered nose, mineral freshness and body on the palate. Dry, 7.0 g/l acidity. Serve at 10-12 °C.
