Weingut Bauer · Mosel, Germany
Dry Spätburgunder rosé from Brauneberg. Pale salmon, strawberry and raspberry with floral notes.
Spätburgunder is German for Pinot Noir, and this rosé comes from Bauer's parcels in Brauneberg on the central Mosel. "Trocken" means dry — residual sugar sits at 4.2 g/l, and the 5.3 g/l acidity keeps it upright.
Pale salmon. Strawberry, raspberry and white flowers on the nose. Light on the palate, with a dry, fruit-driven finish. Chill well and serve as an apéritif, or with shellfish or light meat.
