Spätburgunder from Engel's Frauenberg parcel, made in the long, unfiltered Burgundian school. Hand-picked grapes, 25 days of whole-cluster maceration, 24 months in barrique, bottled unfiltered.

Garnet ruby in the glass. The nose offers cherry and sloe fruit with subtle reductive and toasted notes. Light-bodied on the palate, but pulled long by clear acidity and an extended finish.
