Chardonnay from Engel's parcel in Sauloch, in Dalsheim, where the soils are limestone with clay. Hand-picked grapes, spontaneous fermentation on native yeasts, ten months on the lees.

Pale yellow in the glass. The nose opens slightly reductive before releasing light fruit and a herbal edge. The palate carries saline minerality, body, and the clear acidity that keeps it fresh.
